Auckland Airport to Auckland City
- 60 free kilometres (25c per excess kms)
- Vehicle must be returned to the Auckland City location only.
Christchurch Airport to Christchurch City
- 30 free kilometres (25c per excess kms)
- Vehicle must be returned to Christchurch City location only.
General Terms & Conditions:
- Rate Code V2 must be quoted at the time of booking or rental.
- Maximum 24 hour hire only.
- First tank of petrol is free.
- Subject to availability.
- Rate includes Standard Motor Vehicle Insurance, Airport Fee and G.S.T.
- Available from Auckland and Christchurch Airport locations only.
- Available on Car Groups A, B and C only.
- Renter must meet Avis age, driver and credit requirements.
- Standard Avis New Zealand Rental Terms & Conditions apply.
Fly Buys Members:
- Fly Buys Members earn 1 point for every $20 of rental charges they spend. Rental charges do not include airport fees, fuel, insurance, drop-off fees, G.S.T and other miscellaneous charges.
- Rewards program points will be awarded on eligible rentals only. Points cannot be earned on staff rates, corporate rates, discount promotions, free days, tours or certain travel industry rates.
- Fly Buys points can be collected when you rent from any Avis location in New Zealand.
- Only one points programme may be nominated per rental and the renter name must be the same as the membership name of that particular programme.
- Members must quote their Fly Buys number when making a reservation and show their membership card when collecting their vehicle, or at the counter at checkout. (This is not required if the membership number is already linked to your Avis profile).
GPS Navigation Units:
- Avis will hold your request for a GPS Navigation Unit with your reservation; however we cannot guarantee availability until rental pickup.
- Reliability of directions is subject to software provided by the supplier.
- The Renter is responsible for all costs in the event of lost, stolen or damaged GPS Navigation Units and/or any of its components.
- The Renter agrees to release and hold Avis harmless for any GPS unit failures.
- Price displayed above is exclusive of G.S.T.
