Customer is liable for full value of the Avis vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. Purchase of CDW reduces liability to an amount of 950.00 EUR in the event of an accident to the Avis vehicle.
Theft Protection (TP) is Optional
Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if Theft Protection (TP) is not taken. Purchase of TP reduces liability to an amount of 950.00 EUR for theft of parts or all of the Avis vehicle.
If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Drivers License
A valid driver's license from country of residence is required. License must have been held for at least 3 consecutive years immediately prior to rental pick-up date. International driving permit (IDP) is required only for countries with non-Roman alphabet to serve as a translation.
Public Liability and Property Damage
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Cars can be returned to other Avis locations within the same cities. One-way rentals are subject to availability and one-way fees may apply. Vehicles are not available for one way rentals outside this country. Cars are not allowed outside of the country.
