Customer is liable for an amount of 20,000.00 DKR if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. Purchase of CDW reduces liability to an amount of 6,000.00 DKR accident the Avis vehicle.
Theft Protection (TP) is Not available.
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Credit Card Policies
Avis Faroe Islands accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard / Eurocard, Visa.
Car group G requires 2 different credit cards.
Additional Charge Card Hold
At time of pick up a pre-authorization will be blocked for the estimated rental amount plus DKR 2500 plus the NWE amount depending on car group rented.
Debit Card Policies
Debit cards are not accepted.
Drivers License
Each driver must show photographic proof of identity at the start of the rental. All drivers must present a full and current driving license which has been held for at least 1 year. The license must be valid for use in the renting country. If your license was issued outside the European Community, you must provide an International Driving License.
Public Liability and Property Damage
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
Age Requirements
At this location the minimum age is 21 for all car groups.
